Perfect Day in Amsterdam
This is one of the trips to beautiful capital city of Netherlands, Amsterdam. In fact, it is a very small city compared to Milan, London and other European capitals. In this post I share with you my impressions after my short stay in the city. You can see my full review of the Netherlands in this post Netherlands Recap.
Romance and bicycles
Amsterdam is full of beautiful places where you can walk all day. This is an artistic city, where romance and friendly atmosphere reign everywhere. It is characteristic of the everyday life of the Dutch. that they travel mainly by bicycle. You can see hundreds of different models of them everywhere and also rent for transportation during the day. The architecture in this beautiful city is unique and very different in design. The Dutch are also known for their flower production. Another romantic city that attracts me is Rome, Italy.
Sweet temptation
There are hundreds of small shops here that complement the beauty of the city. I stumbled upon a small bakery that prepares desserts with ice cream. I tried an amazing traditional ice cream dessert that you can only find here in Amsterdam. You can eat such delicious ice cream in Italy, the country of ice cream. See my post about Rome, Italy.
Homemade cheese
The Netherlands is famous for the production of home-made cheeses. See how beautifully this cheese shop presents its products. Here you can choose from their diverse collection. Everything is amazing. I really managed to visit so many places during my stay and fell in love with this city.
Hard Rock Cafe
I am happy to have time to visit the iconic Hard Rock Cafe. I find it different from all other cafeterias in the city.
The interior is very attractive and extravagant in design. I personally liked it because of the atmosphere and the different feeling.
Scheltema Bookstore
I still remember this spectacular bookstore. It is very famous in the city and has an impressive typical Netherlands style. It is called Scheltema. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to go inside immediately. Of course, I couldn’t resist and bought the book, called ” 50 Fashion Designers You Should Know”, which I had been looking for a long time before and couldn’t find anywhere.
I hope to come back here again for a long time because there are so many landmarks I couldn’t see in one day.
I would recommend Amsterdam to anyone who wants to visit it.
Thanks so much for reading this post. I hope you enjoy it!
