Eindhoven Trip
The flying pings
Eindhoven, or as I call it, the city where your hairstyle falls faster than bowling pins, impresses its foreign visitors with one of the interesting attractions you can see here in this photo, namely these big yellow bowling pins. This is the symbol of the city. The flying pings are an original sight in Eindhoven, located in a very strategic place in the city. This work of art was created by two Dutch artists. They are a very popular landmark for tourists visiting the city.
Eindhoven trip – City Center
Eindhoven is located about 100 km from the capital, Amsterdam. This is one of the most exciting cities in the Netherlands. Like any tourist, of course, I visited the city center and I want to tell you that this is a very nice place. There are many restaurants and shopping places. The city center attracts not only with its amazing Christmas decorations, but also with the attractive visual merchandising of the shops, so I decided to give myself a little pre-Christmas gift. Futuristic design
One of the things that impressed me the most in Eindhoven are not only the modern but also the historic buildings, such as one of the biggest landmarks St. Catherine’s Church. The architecture of this Dutch city is extremely specific and identical. While walking around the center I saw a very interesting building. This is how one of the famous brands H&M has chosen a very interesting building with a unique design that fits into the typical Dutch architecture in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
This is an enclosed modern bicycle garage with a very futuristic design. You know that bicycles are a very popular transport for the Dutch. Non-standard and very art, this is how the bicycle parking in Eindhoven can be described.
An interesting solution for a clothing store America Today made as a glass dome. What also impressed me a lot was the cleanliness of the streets. I literally have nowhere to get my shoes dirty.
Eindhoven trip – Short video
While traveling by car, I shot a very short video in which you can see the beauty of the Dutch architecture.
Eindhoven trip – The End
This is how my trip to the Netherlands ends, with pre-Christmas shopping for souvenirs, gifts and of course Christmas cards for friends and relatives. I bought these things, while I was in the Magical Rotterdam. I would return to this beautiful country again, this time I am thinking of visiting the Van Gogh Museum and getting a paintbrush from one of the most artistic cities in the world, Amsterdam. Check out my other posts about the cities and places I visited during my stay in the Netherlands: Hello Nijmegen, Perfect Day in Amsterdam, A Day in Radbound University and Netherlands Recap.
